South Wales Police Federation chair Steve Treharne has paid tribute to PC Ian Charles Godfrey on the anniversary of his death.
Ian was fatally injured in a road traffic accident in Clydach, Swansea, while travelling as a passenger in a patrol car on 20 June 1999. He was 30 and had been an officer with South Wales Police for just 18 months.
Steve said: "It’s important that we take the time to remember our fallen colleagues. South Wales Police Federation sends thoughts and prayers to Ian’s family, friends and colleagues. Ian continues to be missed by those whose lives he touched."
