As you will be aware The Police Charities UK group is a consortium of charities working in the policing environment, with the aim of working in partnership with a common purpose to provide beneficiaries with committed, appropriate, timely and efficient support.
They formally meet only twice a year, in February and October, and are supported by The Police Federation, promoting all 20 members simultaneously.
Most of us will already have dealings with some of these charities, which are all listed on the PCUK website here, which also acts as a one stop shop to assist in the selection of a charity for your particular needs.
Please consider adding this link to your own websites, and also provide this link to all your fed reps, for the benefit of our members.
If you are arranging a conference, seminar, or meeting, please consider allowing a representative of the PCUK group to attend and provide an overview of the services each charity has to offer.
There is also a new Police Charities UK Twitter account, but please also consider promoting the group via your own social media channels.
The Gurney Fund and The Police Arboretum Memorial Fund are both looking for Trustees. If you are interested, please let me know.
