An officer who was killed in a car crash while on duty has been remembered on the anniversary of his death.

Garry Wozencroft (35) died when his patrol car crashed while he was pursuing a suspect vehicle on 30 June 2000.

South Wales Police Federation chair Steve Treharne said: “Today we remember Garry, who was a dedicated officer who lost his life in the line of duty.

“Our thoughts today are with Garry’s family, friends and colleagues. He shall never be forgotten.”
