World Autism Awareness Day, which aims to increase understanding of autism, and help reduce stigma and discrimination, took place yesterday (Sunday 2 April). 

Police Mutual, which provides financial services and welfare support to the police service, has produced a free online factsheet for the awareness day.

It includes information on understanding behaviour, communication, and features of autism. There are also links to other support services.
