Federation remembers PC
South Wales PC Garry Wozencroft died on this day 24 years ago.
Garry, who was 35, died on 30 June 2000 when his patrol car crashed while he was pursuing a suspect vehicle.
Based at Maesteg, Garry has received four commendations for bravery during his policing career.
Phil Walker, chair of South Wales Police Federation, said: “Today we remember Garry an the service he gave to the Force and to the public. But we also remember the family, friends and former colleagues he left behind as they continue to feel his loss.”
