South Wales Police Federation has paid tribute to fallen colleague Sergeant Mark Woodward on the 21st anniversary of his death.

Mark was fatally injured in a motorcycle accident near Bridgend on his journey to work on 14 June 2002. He was 30.

Branch chair Steve Treharne said: “The thoughts of everyone at South Wales Police Federation are with Mark’s family, friends and former colleagues.

“His dedication to serving the people of South Wales will never be forgotten. He continues to be remembered and missed by all who knew him.”
