South Wales Police Federation has paid tribute to PC Gary Jones on the anniversary of his death.

Gary was 30 when he died in a road traffic accident on 28 June 1979 while on duty on his police motorcycle.

Branch chair Steve Treharne said: “The thoughts of all at South Wales Police Federation are with his family, friends and former colleagues.”
