South Wales Police Federation has remembered Sergeant Clifford Thomas on the anniversary of his death.

Clifford died in a road traffic accident while instructing on a motorcycle course on 3 October 1974. He was 49.

Branch chair Steve Treharne said: "Our thoughts are with his family, friends and former colleagues as we mark the anniversary of his death."
