South Wales Police Federation today remembers Chief Inspector Trevor Smith.

The South Wales officer died in a road accident while examining students on a police driving course on 18 November 1972.

“It is incredibly important that we remember our fallen colleagues and the service they gave to the communities we serve,” says Steve Treharne, chair of South Wales Police Federation.

“Our thoughts remain with Trevor’s family, his friends and his former colleagues.”
