Fed chair urges members to have their say

South Wales Police Federation chair Steve Treharne says it’s more important than ever for members’ voices to be heard, as he urged them to complete the annual pay and morale survey.

The survey was launched earlier this month and runs until Monday 11 December.

The findings will provide vital evidence to support the Police Federation of England and Wales (PFEW) in its national pay campaign, in fighting for fair remuneration for police officers, and in calling for an independent pay mechanism.

It will also provide accurate and timely information on the current state of police morale and wellbeing, helping to inform and drive policies to support officers.

Steve said: “It’s more important than ever for our members to make their voices heard loud and clear. Your opinion matters.”

The link to the survey and full details have been emailed to members. If you’ve not received it, please check your junk folder.
