Remembering PC Anthony Ashmore

South Wales Police Federation chair Steve Treharne has remembered PC Anthony Ashmore on the anniversary of his death.

Anthony was aged 38 when was killed in a motorcycle accident as he was responding to an emergency call on 31 March 1996.

“Police officers put themselves at risk every day and all too often pay the ultimate price,” said Steve.

“It’s important for us to remember our fallen colleagues, and Anthony’s dedication, commitment, and service to policing and to the public should never be forgotten.

“The thoughts of everyone at South Wales Police Federation are with Anthony’s family, friends and colleagues today.”
